First Friday @ atdStudios!
Join us for TWO fun pop-ups this First Friday!
5:30-7:30 PM Meet new atdStudios teacher Tricia Diamond at our First Friday Pop Up Event: Diaspora Dance and Dish - dancing and dining from West Africa, New Orleans and the Caribbean. Tricia will share a blend of dancing and cuisine: Jollof rice, rice and peas and pecan pralines and hurricanes for those who attend. Sign up in mindbody HERE. Keep an eye out for her on the schedule- Tricia will start offering regular weekly classes at atdStudios at the end of February.
8-9 PM Valentine’s Day is around the corner- celebrate early with Ballroom Date Night. Part of our First Friday Pop-Ups, Celia will be teaching a romantic slow waltz this Friday night Feb 3 from 8-9 pm. Bring a friend, partner or singles welcome. CLICK HERE to sign up.
Pilates
This functional strength and conditioning class is a contemporary approach to Joseph Pilates’ original work with an emphasis on breath and cultivating the mind body connection. We will focus on developing correct postural alignment, mobility and core strength to support a balanced and capable body. (50 min)
Adult Beg/Int Ballet
This Beginning/Intermediate classical ballet class involves a warm-up at the barre, center floor exercises and traveling combinations, all with a focus on alignment and artistry. Whether you are new to ballet or coming back to an old friend, this class will offer challenge in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. (1.5 hr)
Vinyasa Yoga
This class is accessible to all levels but provides more opportunity for strength building and physical intensity. It uses fluid and dynamic movements, creative sequencing, and inspiring music to help you feel energized and empowered. (1 hr)
Chill Yoga
Wind down from your day with this hour-long all levels yoga class. We will flow gracefully from pose to pose with a focus on slowing down, breathing deep and connecting to the present moment. With extra time for softening into restorative poses, this might be the most relaxing part of your day. (1 hr)
Beginning Tap
This beginner-friendly tap class focuses on the basics of Tap dance in a welcoming and encouraging environment. Class will focus on fundamentals, basic steps, and some choreography to get your toes tapping. If you are new to Tap dance, or have taken some time away, this is the class for you! (1 hr)
Cardio Jazz
A powerfully fun and sassy dance class that will lift your spirits. Class incorporates aspects of classical jazz dance, musical theater and strengthening and aerobic exercises to bring some excitement into your workout. (1 hr)
Barre
This workout class combines ballet-inspired movements at the barre with elements of Yoga, Pilates, and Conditioning. Expect to sweat through high rep, small movements that target muscle groups to fun music. (1 hr)
Intermediate/Advanced Tap
This intermediate-level tap class is for dancers who already have mastered the Tap basics. This class will focus on choreography, rhythm, improvisation, and more in a supportive and friendly environment. (1 hr)
Line Dancing and a Lot More
Ease your way onto the dance floor by moving to the rhythms of Country, MoTown, Blues, Swing and Latin music. Learn the ever popular classic line dances as well as current favorites. We’ll put some Latin in our line dancing, incorporating rumba, cha cha, samba and salsa…all from a ballroom dancer’s point of view. (1 hr)

Cardio Pop Styles
This fun, upbeat class includes isolations, progressions across the floor, and strengthening exercises to help you sweat to a beat. It is inspired by hip hop dance culture, pop culture and other dance genres and danced to a great playlist. (1 hr)

This all levels classical ballet class involves a warm-up at the barre, center floor exercises and traveling combinations, all with a focus on alignment and artistry. Whether you are new to ballet or coming back to an old friend, this class will offer challenge in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. (1 hr)

A full body cardio workout in tap shoes! This fun and exciting favorite let’s you dance it out while you work it out. Tap experience is beneficial but not necessary. (1 hr)
